Sachin's Tweet raises a Crore for Cancer

Sachin has set many records, but this is the first for him to set a new record in social work, but this time he didn't bat against any other countries, he bats against Cancer for his Country(Our Country INDIA)

A unique initiative by Sachin and his wife Anjali Tendulkar, 'Sachin Crusade Against Cancer in Children', became the biggest fundraising event of its kind in the country. By the end of the evening the record stood at Rs. 1.3 crore and counting.

Donations came across the country and in overseas by the website http://bit.ly/sachins_crusade,which he twitted in his twitter.

Dr.Jegannath of the Crusade Against Cancer Foundation said: "Sachin is the most motivating Indian and we are so proud that for the first time in this country, someone has come forward to support a cause like this." And if Tendulkar lends his support for a cause, then it is sure to be a success.

But Sachin said full Credit goes to his Wife Anjali, a Paediatrician and Dr.Jegannath and said "I am very happy to support this cause in any way I can and am determined to continue doing so. I never expected the remarkable response we have received."

Sachin listened most of the Cancer Survivor's stories and said "Listening to these inspiring stories makes me realise that not everyone is as lucky and we should do all we can to help."

Soon after his entry into twitter, he has been tweeting regularly about his initiative to help kids suffering about cancer.He started this corpus"CRUSADE AGAINST CANCER" for kids with cancer who can't afford treatment can be helped by paying for their surgeries and giving them medicines.

He has thanked all the supporters in his twitter by tweeting as Really excited abt 'Crusade against Cancer' dinner tonight.We hv managed to raise over 125 lakhs to help poor kids.Thnx for all ur support.

Sachin Tendulkar has ended the IPL 3 with 618 runs from 15 matches at an average of 47.53.He scored 5 half centuries in this Edition and he has smashed 86 fours and 3 sixes.

Sachin is the second batsman to get aggregate of 600 plus in an IPL Edition after Shaun Marsh. Marsh scored 616 runs in 2008 from 11 matches at average of 68.44.

After his knock of 48 at the Final he became the leading run getter in an IPL Edition by getting 618 runs by surpassing Marsh's 616 runs.

This shows how well the 37 years young man performing with consistency and he is getting better and better by age. The way he lead the team and the way he performed in IPL 2010 are ample examples of Quality batsmen and good captaincy and the way he led the team to final was amazing. Just consider the team which has just missed the semi final spot in both the seasons was the first team to enter semi that too easily and entered the final in grand way. Sachin's Injury and Dhoni's luck made Chennai win Possible

Once again Dhoni is proving his luck worth here for his Chennai Super Kings Team. Chennai was in the league match stage they are almost to lose the game against Mumbai but sudden dehydration from Sachin made him to retire and then the Chennai turned the match in favour of them. Though Sachin came back but couldn't do much as required run rate was gone far above and he was got out too trying to hit. If Mumbai had won that Match Chennai wouldn't have even come to semi final. Though they played well in their last match against Punjab in a must win game, if Mumbai had won this game, it would have been only their consolation win and would have ended their journey in league stage itself. this shows the sign of Dhoni's luck.

Let's discuss how his luck turned around yesterday for their win. It was in the semi finals that Sachin was injured trying to catch Rahul Dravid in the first slip. And he left the field immediately and as got five stitches in his hand.

And it was a brave decision from Sachin and made his availabilty in the team and never want to let his team down by his absence in the Important Final game because as we all know Sachin's presence itself is a great moral support for the team. I think Dhoni's luck only would have made Sachin to such an injury. He has got sitches in his right hand and its difficult to even hold the bat and stitches generally have to remove after a week only and its difficult to move the hands with stiches. But Sachin bravely came to he field and played a superb knock of 45 ball 48 with that split webbing injury. If Sachin would have been without injury it might have been a minimum of 45 ball 75 from Sachin and it would have been a win for Mumbai.

Even Chennai in their knock of 168 had two lucks, both was a missed catch for Raina. If that catch have been caught Chennai would have suffered even to get 130. Though it was a fielding side mistake, we have to generally consider this as a lucky chance for them.

Just think of this, in both the matches Mumbai lost against Chennai, Sachin was not able to play his full innnings, One due to dehydration and other due to split webbing injury. This shows the luck of Dhoni. Just imagine the above two Factors, with that we can say only one thing that Dhoni is a lucky charm.

But anyway Chennai played really very well and was superior to Mumbai in all the Three Departments. But Mumbai would have won the game if they have holded any of the two catches of Raina.This shows how much luck Dhoni has and the thing that Sachin doesnot had.

There are many ups and downs in your life but its a general thing happening in every human life. But you are the man who converted all the Downs into Ups and made your career steady and been Role Model for many of them.

Sachin made us all one thing clear. That he doesnt make or create records for him or for critics on him. He says he enjoys the game and so he is playing it, and the records were coming because of my enjoyment in play. He says he doesnt beleive in records and just he is enjoying the game and loving to play it.

"Sachin insisited that 2007 WorldCup failure really hurted Indian team a lot as a lot was expected on us to perform. But we just came out in the League Stage. He said it really hurted me badly and from that onwards i worked more on my game and started practising rigorously even when i was not playing matches".
That practice and determination may be the reason for this Little Masters great form of now.

He atlast clearly insisted one thing and his desire that has not happened still now in his career time and waiting for that to happen it in 2011.

They said he is too old for the ODIs. And he answered them in the way he knows best, going for the big hits and setting new records both for himself and the team.
Today, as the Master Blaster turns a year older, let us look back at the career of someone who has come to represent cricket to many people of this generation.

Sachin Tendulkar has come a long way from that fresh-faced boy who debuted at the age of 16 in Karachi, against the Pakistanis?
Now, he is a living legend to whom all of Indian cricket is looking up to. He impressed one and all with his attitude and approach
in 1989, though he did not manage too many runs.

But, Sachin was perfect. He had it in him. And as the years went by, his movements spoke economy, he had perfect balance,
and precision in stroke making. He now is the highest run scorer in both Test matches and ODIs, and also the batsman with
the most centuries in either form of the game.

Sachin’s tour of England in 1990 saw him score his first Test century at Old Trafford. Tendulkar further enhanced his development into
a world-class batsman during the 1991–1992 tour of Australia that included an unbeaten 148 in Sydney. The great Shane Warne too made
his debut in the match, where opposing bowler Merv Hughes told his captain Allan Border, “This little guy’s going to get more runs than you, AB.”

Merv Hughes statement became a reality. 2008 was special for Sachin. He hit his first century in Australia to propel India to six-wicket win
against the World Champions in the first of the three-match final of the Common Wealth Bank tri-series. Tendulkar,
with his 117 not out off 120 balls, surpassed his previous best in Australia and extended his world record feat of most hundreds (42) in ODIs.

Sachin Tendulkar surpassed Brian Lara’s record for the most runs scored in Test Cricket in October 2008 by amassing more than 12,000 Test runs.
He also holds the record for the first player to score 10,000 runs in one-day internationals. ‘If it comes along the way, I will cherish it.
But to me records are a number game. Winning matches for India is more important,’ says Sachin.

And win he did. His solid knock brought him the much awaited ton in New Zealand and for the team, a series win against the Kiwis.
Such was the elegance of this ‘Little Master’ that Sir Richard Hadlee said that he rated Tendulkar even higher than Don Bradman,
considering Sachin’s staggering success in both the long and short formats of the game. “Nobody has ever said like that before. I am happy and satisfied,”
an elated Tendulkar said. “This comes as a pleasant surprise and it comes from a personality whose credentials cannot be questioned. I am happy
that I played with him on my first tour to New Zealand in 1989,” he added.

Recognition came from other quarters too. Madame Tussauds came out with a wax replica of this legend.
The replica was flown into India and was unveiled by none other than Sachin himself. “It is a great honour to be there at the Tussauds.
I know I am the first sportsperson of the country to be there. I think it is an appreciation and a reflection of my contribution to Indian cricket,”
he said after unveiling the statue.

Let us go back in time and see what makes Sachin special. Sachin was asked to open against the Kiwis in Auckland
where he went on to make 82 runs off just 49 balls. But he could not complete the ton. The wait was long, a bit too long
till he did it in 2009. Tendulkar became one of India’s key openers. The batsman, the country looked up to give it a solid start.

This was the beginning of a period at the top of the batting world, culminating in the Australian tour of India in early 1998,
with Tendulkar scoring three consecutive centuries.

His stroke play was so legendary that bowlers used to cherish taking his wickets. Glen McGrath, Warne,
there was never a great bowler who Tendulkar had not sent high across the boundary ropes.

And during the 1996 World Cup Sachin was the leading run scorer. He single handedly took the team forward.
When he lost his wicket, the batting lineup crumbled like a house of cards. If there is one thing this player wants,
Sachin has been quoted as saying it is to win the World Cup for the country

In 1995, Sachin Tendulkar married Anjali (born 10 November 1967), the pediatrician daughter of Gujarati industrialist,
Anand Mehta. They have two children, Sara (born 12 October 1997), and Arjun (born 24 September 1999).

Tendulkar’s two tenures as captain of the Indian cricket team were not very successful. When Tendulkar took over as Captain in 1996,
it was with huge hopes and expectations. However, by 1997 the team was performing poorly. Azharuddin was credited with saying
“Nahin jeetega! Chote ki naseeb main jeet nahin hai!”,[27] which translates into: “He won’t win! It’s not in the small one’s destiny”.

It was in 1999 that Sachin suffered a chronic back-pain. And it was just the beginning. He started missing matches,
after suffering injuries, especially of his elbow, leading to talks of his retirement. He himself has rubbished any such talk of his quitting the game.

Tendulkar, succeeding Azharuddin as captain for his second term, then led India on a tour of Australia, where the visitors were comprehensively beaten 3-0 by the newly-crowned world champions.
Tendulkar, however, was at his usual best and won the player of the tournament award as well as player of the match in one of the games. After another Test series defeat, this time
by a 0-2 margin at home against South Africa, Tendulkar resigned, and Sourav Ganguly took over as captain in 2000.

Tendulkar remains an integral part of the Indian team’s strategic processes.
He’s often found discussing with the captain and involved in building strategies.

Tendulkar made 673 runs in 11 matches in the 2003 Cricket World Cup, helping India reach the final.
While Australia retained the trophy that they had won in 1999, Tendulkar was given the Man of the Tournament award.

On 10 December 2005, at Feroz Shah Kotla, he scored record-breaking 35th Test century, against the Sri Lankans.
On 6 February 2006, Tendulkar scored his 39th ODI hundred, in a match against Pakistan. He followed with a run-a-ball
42 in the second ODI against Pakistan on February 11, 2006, and then a 95 in hostile, seaming conditions on 13 February 2006
in Lahore, which set up an Indian victory.

In the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, 2007-08, Tendulkar showed exceptional form, becoming the leading run scorer with 493 runs in four Tests,
despite consistently failing in the second innings. He is also known for his interest in fast cars and the Ferrari he was presented with,
which created a furore in how it was given a tax-free import, is now a part of history!

The normally cool Tendulkar became rather emotional when the team coach Greg Chappell hit out against his attitude.
Chappell believed that Tendulkar’s repeated failures were hurting the team’s chances. Tendulkar was slapped with a notice
by the BCCI which dampened his spirits and resulted in his dismal performance in the World Cup in 2007.

But, Sachin Tendulkar battled his way out of all the controversies. And made a comeback by becoming the Man of the Series
against the Bangladesh. And then there was no looking back.

Besides his performances in the Test and ODI scenes, he is now an Icon player in the Mumbai Indians team of IPL
and will hope to leave his mark in the Twenty20 version of cricket too.And he is presently doing that with being the leading run scorer in IPL3 at the End of League Matches. Let his form continues and get the DLF cup for Mumbai and prove his Captaincy

So its difficult for the batsmen who try to make them steady and then accelerate their innings.So T20 is a game for hard hitters who want to just go on from the very first ball, so that as much score can be scored in this 20 over.

But this IPL 3 clearly shows the cricketing shots are more than enough in any Format of the game.This IPL3 is a clear evidence that perfect cricketing shots and thoughtful shots are large enough to score in 20 over than just hitting the ball hard.

Audiences in the ground have never expected that they are going to see Extra-Ordinary shows created by Sachin and had their Money worth more than they spent for their Ticket.
All the People in the Crowd together will have a same thought in their mind while going away from the ground, that is They are very Luckiest Person in the world to see
Master's Master Class Batting where he stayed still the End and made a Brilliant 200 ,that has never acheived by anybody in ODI, since its Inception on 1971.Even the Master himself
took 2 Decades to get First Double Century of this Format. It was a very late acheivement by Master according to his Standards and Records, but anyway he is the First to acheive that Milestone.

He really been in great touch from the Start of the Day still the End.He stayed throughout 50 overs, thats the great acheivement for the 36 Year Old Young Man and Ran all his runs without any Runner for him.South African Bowlers had no Clue about where to bowl to him. This shows his dedication towards Cricket, his Hunger to score Runs and his interest towards the game.This is surely an Unbeatable Record, if it was beaten it is surely again by Sachin only. None others can do it.He deserves all the Records Under his Belt and he still there to do Plenty of Records.

Sachin has only one thing left to do. That is getting World Cup for the Team India when he is in Team.Its a great Surprise to Everybody that India has not got World Cup when it had World Class Players like Sachin, Ganguly and Dravid in a Single Team. Anyway Sachin has clearly shown his thought that to get a WorldCup for India is his main Goal. When he is in form like this its Easy for India to Get WorldCup. Hi everybody I’m going to discuss the happenings in Sachin’s life. He is often referred as ‘The Little Master’. He is now called as’ Master Blaster’. He is one of the greatest batsmen in the history of cricket and this is widely accepted by all the countries. Even the countries where cricket is not popular Sachin will be known to every individual. Even I too got interest in watching cricket because of him. During my childhoods I used to hear in TV news frequently that Sachin made a victorious path to Indian cricket in frequent matches. This made me to watch cricket and I was then impressed by his batting style and the way he picks the ball. His specialty is the selection of shots. He used to play perfectly and neatly and the play will be interesting and lovable. There are reports that many people in India will come to watch the cricket match only because of Sachin. There are some proofs for it.
